Fieldstead welcomed Danish artist Maja Lisa Engelhardt to an exhibition opening for her paintings of the eight days of creation, curated by John Silvis.
The celebration included a presentation by Msgr. Timothy Verdon, art historian and Director of the museum at the Duomo in Florence, Italy. Msgr. Verdon gave historical context to Engelhardt's spiritually-influenced paintings.
The exhibition was introduced with a 20-minute video conversation between Engelhardt and Ettore Rocca, author and associate professor at the Søren Kierkegaard Research Centre discussing the inspiration behind this series. The work was further illuminated by Maja's husband, Danish artist Peter Brandes, Roberta Ahmanson, and curator John Silvis.
